Overview

Catlett Digital LLC ("Catlett Digital," "we," "us") operates catlettdigital.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it simple because our data practices are simple: we collect only what's needed to understand how the site is used and to respond to people who reach out.

We do not sell your data. We do not build marketing lists. We do not share your information with third parties beyond the services described below.

1. Website Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and how they arrive (e.g., search, direct, referral). This helps us improve the site and understand which content is useful.

Google Analytics collects:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• General geographic region (country/city level — not precise location)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Referring website or search query that brought you here

This data is collected via cookies and is associated with a randomly assigned anonymous ID — not your name or email address. IP addresses are anonymized before storage. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

2. Contact Form

When you submit the contact form on the Get Started page, we collect the following information:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your website URL (optional)
• Whether you're a business owner or agency/freelancer
• Your site type and approximate monthly traffic
• Whether your site processes payments
• Your primary goal for the site
• Any notes or context you choose to share

This information is used solely to evaluate whether Catlett Digital is a good fit for your needs and to follow up with you directly about hosting and maintenance services. We do not add you to any mailing list. We do not use this information for any purpose other than responding to your inquiry.

Form submissions are delivered to us via email and are not stored in a database. Once an inquiry is resolved — whether we move forward together or not — the submission is not retained beyond what's in our email history.

3. Spam Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that submissions come from real people, not automated bots. Turnstile may collect limited browser signals (such as browser type and interaction patterns) to make this determination. It does not use intrusive tracking cookies or fingerprinting.

4. Cookies

This site uses cookies only for Google Analytics (described above). We do not use cookies for advertising, session tracking, or any other purpose. If you disable cookies in your browser, the site will still function normally — only analytics data will not be collected.

5. Data Sharing

We share data with the following services as described in this policy:

• Google Analytics — anonymized site usage data
• Cloudflare — browser signals for spam protection on form submissions

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third party for any purpose.

6. Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted from Google's servers.

Contact form submissions are not stored in a database. Email correspondence is retained in our inbox for as long as reasonably needed to manage the business relationship, and deleted when no longer relevant.

7. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing us directly. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you submitted a contact form and would like that information deleted from our records, just let us know and we will remove it.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively change how previously collected data is used without notice.
